AO3 Tag Set
AO3 Collection
Schedule:
Nominations Open - October 12
Nominations Close - October 21
Sign Ups Open - October 26
Sign Ups Close - November 4
Assignments Due - December 14
Works Revealed - December 21
Creators Revealed - December 31
Nominations:
You can nominate 5 fandoms and 10 relationships.
Use & to indicate platonic relationships.
Use / to indicate romantic relationships.
There are no restrictions on what fandoms can be nominated.
Non-fandom nominations should be under the Original Works fandom.
Crossovers should be nominated under the Crossover fandom with each character's original fandom in parentheses after their name.
Whenever possible, fandoms should be nominated as the largest umbrella fandom that is applicable. If you think the umbrella fandom tag will lead to confusion, please add a subfandom in parentheses after the character's name.
Along those same lines, please nominate any movies or TV shows related to Marvel Studios under Marvel Cinematic Universe. This includes, but is not limited to, Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Netflix Marvel, and Venom.
I'm not familiar with comic universes, so if people who are would help me know how best to approve those nominations, it would be appreciated.
Sign Ups:
You can make 3-10 requests and 3-10 offers.
In the sign up form you will indicate whether you want art or a fic as your gift, and which you are willing to create.
Assignments:
Fics must be at least 1000 words.
Art must be at least a complete line drawing.
Works must not include any elements listed as Do Not Wants (DNW) by your recipient.
We are taking a very loose stance on the Fluff requirement. As long as you include some fluffy aspects, you can add angst, hurt/comfort, smut, or whatever other aspects you want.
Pinch hits will be posted to the community. If you think you can't finish your work by the deadline, please default on AO3.

Thanks for your feedback!

Date: 2018-10-15 02:19 am (UTC)From: (Anonymous)You disambiguate tags by putting the fandom name in parenthesis. This is to prevent wandering tags as AO3 will associate tags to the wrong fandom if one of the characters is part of that fandom, even if the other doesn't. You don't need to know the fandom to disambiguate, just change the tags as you accept them. If you don't you are just going to cause massive headaches for yourself later.

Date: 2018-10-16 06:33 pm (UTC)From:Like, I see a nominated pairing that should be under The Hobbit (Jackson movies), but has somehow wandered into the Lord of the Rings (Movies).
I ask because it is a pairing that I nominated under The Hobbit (Jackson movies) and it's showing in both places when one of the characters of the pairing was not in the LotR movies?
